CREDITS
TO A FEW OF MY CRIME PARTNERS, RELATIVES & ASSOCIATES
It would be impossible to mention the names of everybody who has contributed in some fashion, so here are a just few that I'd like to tip my hat too and give a huge applaud. Please take a bow!
First and foremost I'd like to thank my great aunt, and Dillinger's only wife Beryl Ethel Hovious. Beryl died November 30, 1993 in Mooresville, Indiana at age 87.
To Frank Ballinger who I consider a very good friend as well as the founder of my favorite "Award Winning" Website "Bonnie and Clyde's Hideout." This truly an extraordinary site which I consider to be the best Bonnie and Clyde site on the “Internet” to date. You can view the site on my " Legendary links" page.
To the amazing Jim Adams of the Award winning Website, "Baby Face Nelson" located on my "Amazing outlaw links" page. Also for the mention of my book in his New Hampshire Newspaper. Thank you to the highest gratitude.
To Mario Gomes founder of the truly fascinating website "My Al Capone Museum" also located on my "Legendary links" page. I consider Mario Gomes to be an expert on Al Capone and one of the biggest collectors of historical memorabilia. Thank you.
Special thanks to Bob Livesey, author of the extraordinary book "On The Rock." An amazing story about "Public Enemy Number One" Alvin Karpis, and his twenty five years in Alcatraz Penitentiary. Also check out Livesey website at "Little Brick Schoolhouse" also located on "Legendary links" page. Thank you for your support and friendship.
Special thanks to the late Tom Hollatz, Author of GANGSTER HOLIDAYS, The Lore and Legends of the Bad Guys and several other outstanding books. Tom was extremely knowledgeable about Wisconsin's history and the many outlaws who came to the beautiful Northern woods. Thank you for the special contributions to my book Dillinger, The Hidden Truth, The Johnnie Dillinger Website, and for your valued friendship. You will be missed.
Special Thanks to Marion Briggs, my dear friend and Professional Forensic Document analyst Expert.
To the late Joe Pinkston owner of "The John Dillinger Historical Wax Museum," for all his many outstanding achievements, for all the documentation, photographs, rare interviews, expert advice he contributed and for the priceless devoted friendship we shared. Pinkston death was somewhat a mystery. Police reports stated that Joe Pinkston committed suicide, but many of his closest friends believe there was possible foul play. involved.
He died on June 10,1996 in Nashville, Indiana. Joe Pinkston's death was a great loss to criminal history. He devoted his life to correcting the myths surrounding the life of John Dillinger. Never again will there be a Historian like Pinkston. He interviewed more people who knew John Dillinger (who have since passed on) than any other Writer in history.
In memory of Bob Harvey who died October 1, 1999 in Greencastle, Indiana. He was 86 years old. Bob was a very close friend of the Dillinger family for many years.
I would also like to give thanks to Gordon Sayers who died December 19, 1999 in Greencastle, Indiana. Gordon was a witness to the famous Greencastle Robbery on October 23, 1933.
Many thanks to Sandy Jones of the John Dillinger Historical Society for sharing the rare John Dillinger Photograph and for his extreme knowledge on John Dillinger, and Bonnie & Clyde.
Special thanks to Rick "MadDog" Mattix, who co-authored with William Helmer the book "Public Enemies: America's Criminal Past, 1919-1940. I'd like to also thank Rick Mattix for sharing his highly valued knowledge on Charley Arthur "Pretty Boy Floyd," and John Dillinger.
I'd also like to thank Dr. Horase Naismith jr. for his valuable contribution of knowledge on outlaws of the nineteen twenties and thirties, and for the Dillinger death mask photo.
I would like to send out a very special thanks to Paul Rosa for his contribution from his amazingly rare collection of newspapers and magazines.
I would also like to thank Jeff King, Author or the book, The Life and Death of Pretty Boy Floyd. The book is published by Kent State University Press at 1-800-247-6553.
